    System IP (VLAN ID)

If you have access to the switch to which the 3300 is connected you could manually tag the 3300 port with the correct vlan ID to allow access, and then after reprogramming the 3300 revert the switch config back. Good Luck.

Auto Attendant transfer to External Speeddial

Thanks for your suggestions, within Voiemail Options Assignment I had Allow Transfer to Any Number set to TRUE and Enable Supervised Transfer to FALSE. Not sure why but I tried setting Enable Supervised Transfer with a reasonable timeout and it all started working =). I toggled it back and as...

    Phonebook search on first name

We are currently on MCD 4.0 SP2 but have required to search by first name from version 7.0. I am not aware of the solution suggested by RobEvansonCIT, but by simply placing both the first and last names within the surname field has worked for us. This was preferable to reversing the fields...

Speech Server on MCD 4.0 SP2?

Good Morning All, Many thanks RossBC, I followed your suggestion of clearing the mac addresses and then removing and reinserting the port numbers within the speech server software and my Speak@Ease has returned to life! Fingers crossed that we won't suffer any of the 'major problems' that...

Speech Server on MCD 4.0 SP2?

Our next plan is back migrate to version 9 at which point Mitel Technical support believe the Speech Server will work. I'm guessing the Mitel Speech Server product isn't widely used (or it wouldn't have been canned), but just wanted to make sure nobody was using it with release 10 SP1 before...

Speech Server on MCD 4.0 SP2?

Hi Yes kwbMitel you hit the nail on the head, I came to the same conclusion after attempting to reconfigure the COS and being prevented until I modified the HCI licence options. In answer to cknipe, thanks but we don't have Nupoint we use a product called Mitel Speech Server which just...

Speech Server on MCD 4.0 SP2?

Hi, We have just completed a rather troublesome upgrade from Rel 8 to MCD 4.0 SP2. During the upgrade we lost a couple of COS configs including the one assigned to the Mitel Speech server stations. As the speech server is EOL and not supported at our software level Mitel are unwilling to even...

Call an External Mobile from a Multi-Level Auto Attendent VM Menu

Thankyou very much kwbMitel & alaanajim for your thoughts & suggestions. The problem was due to incorrect COR, however the solution put forward by kwbMitel was far more elegant than mine and so I have adopted it. Thanks Matt

Call an External Mobile from a Multi-Level Auto Attendent VM Menu

Hi, Is it possible to configure one of the Menu Options on a Multi-Level Auto Attendant to call an external number? I have tried multiple configurations but as yet I have been unsuccessful. The closest I got was creating a dummy extension as single line appearance on a Multiline set and then...

Mitel 3300 DPNSS link to INDeX

We have a INDeX telephone system connected via DPNSS to a Mitel 3300 which hosts our ISDN30 trunks. To allow the INDeX to use the Mitel trunks we use route lists with string processing set to 'As dialled' and then direct it to Group containing the DPNSS trunks. Both systems use '9' for an...
