I have Nortel 6140s at several locations, but at one in particular, underneath the "Profile: Soft" on the screen they say 1:Security. None of my other locations have this on the phones, it doesn't seem to impact how they operate but I'd like them to all be the same. Is there a class of service...
We've been experimenting with deploying spectralink 8440 phones to replace our failure prone 6140 Avaya phones. I have SIP3 licenses installed and have been able to get the 8440s to connect and register no problem. They can make and recieve phone calls and seem to work great. The one downside...
Thanks for that guide, I was able to make my spectralink 8440 with the help of my telco vendor. The only problem I have left, is that when calling the SIP phone, the caller ID on the phone only shows the extension followed by "Phone-Context=cdp.udp" instead of the caller ID info for the calling...
I have Nortel/Avaya 6140 wireless IP phones currently, but we have been having durability issues with them. I'd like to try out some third party SIP based devices as a possible replacement. I have SIP3 licenses installed on my switch, and Spectralink 8440 SIP phones to test out. What do I...
FirebirdScrambler nailed it! I was trying to install through a remote connection. This is a virtual web server, so I uninstalled everything, rebooted, and then logged in through the VMware console. Re-ran the install, configured security as found here...
Using IE 9 from remote PC, Java v1.4.2_04 is installed on the web server since it came with the reporter disc. I find it odd that during the install it asked me to configure ODBC. I Did not have to do that on my other server when I installed Callpilot manager. Is there a specific ODBC...
Its version 5 of both the reporter and callpilot. Installed on a Windows 2003 SP2 web server, I installed from the original disc that came with the callpilot so I'm pretty confident they match. I've installed this a good while back on another web server and it works great, just trying to...
I'm soo close I can taste it! I have callpilot manager installed on a new web server. Jumped through allot of hoops so far to set security and what not just to host the .asp pages. I can now successfully log into the callpilot manager, but when I go to launch the reporter now, I get this...
Hi,
A few months ago, I was asked to install Callpilot reporter for one of my remote sites. I'd never used it before, but had the install disc from my CP installation (v.5), so I added it to my web server per the instructions. It went smoothly, and reporter now shows up when you log into...
I'm having them send me the TN of the phone I'm forwarding to. However, I duplicated this scenario on my PBX, and it doesn't work for me either. I set FDN/HUNT to an ACD that dials 9 + my desk phone number. My phone rings, but when it rolls to voicemail it does not go to mine, it tries to go...
Darn, thought we were on to something. I tried sending FDN and HUNT to an ACD that points at my cell phone, and when not answered, it went to my cell phone VM just fine. Could it be an issue that the phone system of the off-site location is also a Nortel with a callpilot? They have SFA,FNA...
This is my D Channel config, I don't see D100 or D250 in it anywhere:

I am fairly certain the CO is a Nortel switch. Is there something they can change at the CO to correct this or is it the nature of Nortel? I don't have any analogue trunks to the PBX, just the PRI to the CO.
If it were a CO problem, how would I approach them as far as a trouble ticket? If I explain what is happening like I did here, they will just blame my system but I'm pretty sure I've ruled that out. I'm not sure what DMS is, or if there is another option?
I'm having a problem I have seen here before with no resolution. It seems silly that this doesn't work, but here is my situation. I need to hunt/FDN calls from one extension to an offsite number. This works fine, except when that person does not answer or is busy, the call comes back to my VM...
As usual, you guys rock! I have it all up and working. I installed CallPilot manager onto the seperate web server, making sure to check the "callpilot reporter" check box at the beginning of the install. Once it was installed, I could not access the login page. Some more searching on this...
I think thats what I was missing. I'm looking at the install guide, and see that the CP manager can be installed on a stand alone web server along with MyCallPilot. I did not install the system originally and just assumed CallPilot Manager had to be running directly on the CallPilot server.
I...
Just to clarify, the CallPilot Manager works just fine, never had any trouble accessing that. Its CallPilot reporter that I am trying to make run. CallPilot Manager is on the CallPilot server, "My CallPilot" interface is on a seperate web server. Are you saying that if I have CallPilot...
OK, I've read all the similiar posts but don't see anything similiar to my issue. I'm trying to install the Reporter onto my web server, the same one that currently hosts the MyCallPilot. MyCallPilot works great, always has. When I install the reporter (from the physical media), it completes...
I've been searching but can't find what I'm looking for. We are currently running v4.5 but will be upgrading to 7.5 next month. I recall several months ago when I was researching changes to 7.5 that there was a new command to convert set types, like from a 2616 to a 3904 without using custom...
