I'm soo close I can taste it! I have callpilot manager installed on a new web server. Jumped through allot of hoops so far to set security and what not just to host the .asp pages. I can now successfully log into the callpilot manager, but when I go to launch the reporter now, I get this error:

Error code: -2147217865, text 1: [Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Anywhere]Table or view not found: Procedure 'spRegister' not found

Anyone else seen this? I'm at the end of my fairly short rope in troubleshooting this. Our vendor won't step in to look at the reporter until we can make it at least load up on our web server. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

All kinds of things come to mind here. What version Call Pilot and what version Reporter are you using? The Reporter Version has to match the Call Pilot Manager version installed on the Call Pilot Server. What Operating System do you have this installed on?

What web browser are you using and what version Java ??

Its version 5 of both the reporter and callpilot. Installed on a Windows 2003 SP2 web server, I installed from the original disc that came with the callpilot so I'm pretty confident they match. I've installed this a good while back on another web server and it works great, just trying to duplicate that success on a new server.

Using IE 9 from remote PC, Java v1.4.2_04 is installed on the web server since it came with the reporter disc. I find it odd that during the install it asked me to configure ODBC. I Did not have to do that on my other server when I installed Callpilot manager. Is there a specific ODBC configuration that must be setup on the server for this to work?

I've found some references below.

Customer was trying to install Call Pilot reporter via Remote Desktop/Citrix session and was getting the following:- 'ODBC configuration for Adaptive Server Anywhere pops up during install
Install stops at cprptic.dll during install'
This is because the installation of Reporter is not supported through a terminal server session, it has to be installed directly onto the console of the server.

Also at this moment, (July '08) SP2 is not supported for Windows 2003 Web & Enterprise editions for the stand-alone web server for CallPilot Manager (with or without Reporter) and My CallPilot.

#####################################################################################################

Callpilot 5 with CP50041SU09S, CP500S09G31S, CP500S09G33S and CP500S09G32C

A message of 'Imap server entry/attribute cannot be deleted/modified as it is referenced by other' is seen when trying to delete and External Email server entry in Callpilot manager.
Also saw a event 36209 LDAP (SQL)] [] reports Internal Error : -198 [[3] <1428> 23000 (0)] [[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Anywhere]Primary key for row in table 'NMEmailServer' is referenced by foreign key 'NMEmailServer' in table 'NMEmailAccount']

No references could be found in the Mailboxes to this External email server and indeed in this case the customer did not have a license for Email by Phone which is the only facility that allows you to specify and External Email serverin the Mailbox config.

A case was raised and Avaya had to access the database to find Mailboxes that contained references to the Email server that was to be deleted. These could not be seen by looking at the mailboxes in CP manager. Probably left over from some earlier migration.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

IE 9 is not supported. Your Java version is. First things first. If you are Call Pilot is on 5.0 then you need the get the latest SU installed on the CP Server as well as the latest version of Call Pilot Manager which is 05.00.41.167. This same version of Call Pilot Manager is the version you install on your Stand alone Server for Reporter.

CallPilot Manager can be installed on following standalone Web Servers:
Operating Systems:
Windows 2000 Server
Wondows Server 2003
Internet Service software:
Internet Information Server 5.0
Internet Information Server 6.0

Also SU 11 is the current Service Update on the Server. If you are using the software from the original CD then it's no wonder it doesn't work. Get the patches current and make sure your Stand Alone server software is all supported. Once all that criteria is met and it still doesn't work then get your vendor to contact Avaya Support. The first thing Avaya will require is that the patches are current.

FirebirdScrambler nailed it! I was trying to install through a remote connection. This is a virtual web server, so I uninstalled everything, rebooted, and then logged in through the VMware console. Re-ran the install, configured security as found here:

And Voila, working like a champ! I left Java alone, and can access reporter using IE9 from my win7 laptop. Thanks everyone for your help!
