I think I'll go down the physical server route as we need this call recording solution to be rock solid from day 1 and the above method could have a few teething issues. Thanks a lot for your replies anyway guys
Hi Vince,
Thanks for your reply, although normal RSPAN will not work as the blade server isn't connected on to a static port. With it being in a blade server chassis it could end up connecting to any one of the 16 ports in the switch, so I need a method to only mirror traffic from one IP...
Hi All,
I've got a requirement to mirror a port to a virtual server running off a Cisco 3020 switch. As it's a VMWare blade based environment the server could end up connecting on any one of the 16 ports on that switch. Obviously I don't want to pass the traffic to all 16 ports so:
Is there a...
Got this working - As my Lync server FQDN and sip addresses are in different domains I set 'Alternate Destination Domain Enabled' to yes and 'Alternate Destination Domain FQDN or IP Address' ***.co.uk and it's working fine.
I've got a 3300 MXe 4.2 connected to a MS Lync 2010 standard edition server via SIP. I can call from Mitel > Lync, but when I try and dial out from Lync > Mitel I get the below SIP 404 message in Wireshark:
SIP/2.0 404 Not Found
Via: SIP/2.0/TCP 172.30.1.35:56914;branch=z9hG4bK81d43e75

Has anyone managed this? I've followed the guide on MOL and just can't get it to work. I've setup the dial in conferencing number of 4222 on lync and set an ARS route on the Mitel to tale calls to 4222 over the newley created SIP trunk, but I just get NU.
I wondered if it was possible to look on...
Do you have an IPS or any other Secuirty appliance running on your network?? The signalling uses pretty standard ports, although the voice doesn't so could get blocked. This happens a lot with Teleworker/MBG
Does anyone know if this is possible?? I know with Cisco phones you can load a different image on them, and wondered if somethings similar was possible with the Mitels??
Boycey9 - This isn't happening all the time and we're a site of 700 users so I wouldn't want to leave any traces going. No the CCM only captures SMDR from the main user system, should I add the Trunk Gateway too?
Here's a summary of the path programming:
Path Directory Number - 4009
Primary Agent Skill Group ID - 2016
Recording 1: Delay to Start Time Seconds - 0
Recording 1: Directory Number - 7187
Recording 2: Delay to Start Time Seconds - 30
Recording 2: Directory Number - 7173
Recording 2: Release...
The system ID is set to 1, and there is only one call showing on the CCM with a call id of A0026805. How do I search for SMDR on the actual controllers?
4009 is a rem dir entry on Sys71, which passes the call onto Sys70 which has a path of 4009. Within that path there are some custom RAD...
We have a mixture of 4.0.24 and 4.0.26 UCA clients all of which are running at around 184,064k. That's almost double any other application on our systems. This is making the app very slow to open and prone to crashing. I've got these features enabled:
Auto Answer
Call Forwarding
Compact Mode...
