Similar issue with server editions.
Try clearing your browser cache/cookies, specifically for the address of the IP Office, or just clear them all.
Seems browser cache is an issue after the upgrade, since the web-manager has a whole new look.

Give them access to everything, but warn them to only use the manager account for name/email/password changes. Setup your own account in security settings, and only use that when you access the system.
When customer breaks something, point out the audit trail in status.....your not using the...
Their running centralized VM Pro on a UC Module on an SCN?
I know its affected by whatever the issue is, but I dont believe UCMs were supported for SCN/Centralized.
As for the SCN, if its a private network, what firewalls are they using? If their Sonicwall/Dell, make sure they didnt recently...
From System Status, shutdown the SD Card, wait 5 mins, then start it back up.
Even though space is physically clear, system may not see the size difference with out a reboot/restart.....
Shutting down and re-starting card saves the hassle of complete phone outage for a system reboot.

PLDS associate with the Feature Key (FK) number on the SD card.
MAC address are hard-coded by the network device manufacturer, and cannot be changed/assigned (you can spoof a MAC address through some advanced network routing, but generally isnt required).

I've only seen the config default to basic when another tech at my shop powered down the IPO to pull the SD card and then powered up after upgrade.
If you shut the SD card down in status, and pull it while on, you can recreate it and re-insert it. Then just make a minor change in config (reset a...
Under System\Voicemail in manager there should be an option for selecting the UC module as the voicemail type....cannot remember what its called exactly.
UC modules can be tricky and flaky...we've actually gotten away from them completely and the customers that had them are now using VM Pro on a...

As for phones, since there'll be downtime, when I do a 'step' upgrade like this I usually disconnect the phones until final upgrade, so phones only update once.

We had nothing but issues with our 15 9608Gs after updating our hosted IPO to 11.0.4, from a couple with headset issues, NONE of the headset button hook-switches working, random dead-air when you pickup the handset.....was a mess.
What I finally did was download the H.323 6.7 firmware package...
I have a client that we are about to install a 9.1 IPO with 150 IP sets. Threw a last minute curve ball at us asking for Lync Integration.
From what I can tell (since Avaya's docs are SO HELPFUL [evil] ) we need SIP Trunk licenses to go between the Lync Server and the Avaya PBX.
But do we need...

Hello,
I am in the process of configuring my first Server Edition install, and had some questions (knowledgebase is unhelpful in this it seems).
I've got the SE updated and licensed, and the expansion v2 registered and PRI trunks licensed.
From there I have some questions.
Overview of...
I've tried google dns (i use that standard on most IP Office setups), I also tried my providers DNS.
Issue seems to be Avaya ONLY wants and IP Address in the ITSP Proxy Address on the Transport tab. I finally reverse DNS'd the hostname I was given and found an IP and tried it. Trunk...
Has anyone tried getting MegaPath SIP trunks to work on IP Office?
Having an issue even getting the trunk to register. All they gave me was a hostname, user name, password, and telephone number for the URI. In the past, I've only been able to get SIP up using a IP address for the ITSP Server...
Yes and no....I didn't know about the *0 option when collecting messages...that answers half my problem.
The other half is trying to find a way to call another extension from inside a users mailbox. On MOST other Avaya/Lucent voicemails, a user can dial *8 while retrieving their messages and...
Hello.
My boss has recently started complaining that the Intuity mailbox on our IP Office/VM Pro doesn't seem to work the same as our old Definity Intuity/Audix.
On our old system, when he called in and LOGGED IN to his mailbox to retrieve messages, he could then 0-out to the receptionist or...
