i have run sysmon on my database that is running slow but i'm a bit confused as to where to look for the results, any tips???

i've checked the server that holds the database devices, and the drive is very badly fragmented, i have tried to defrag the drive but it will not defragment the large database Device files, so the drive remains fragmented?

no i can access the files alright, i was thinking of removing the files temporarily and then defragmenting the drive and then put the files back in the same place they were in, but i'm not sure that will help at all.
