I have the Calendar PARTIALLY working. I can't say for sure but, since it's on a Test PC, I deleted and re-installed MS Office 2003 and Incredimail (my e-mail client). I was able to get the screen where it ask if I want to use Outlook on e-mail.
The Reminders are not working. Any suggestions???
That's the problem: When I start Outlook, I get MS Office Splash screen, the normal Outlook window is in the background (which I can not get to) and in the foreground I have an Outlook message. That message starts of by saying "Unable to open your default e-mail client. Create a new profile..."...

On my Primary PC, I have installed MS Office 2003. I do use most of the apps such as Word, Access, and Excel. With OUTLOOK, I use that ONLY for the Calendar and Reminders. I have an icon in the Systray, that when I click...
roo0047: I got a good laugh from your post. Thanks, I needed that.
The reason I decided to go with VB is because, prior to retiring, I use to teach it. I was/am certified in VB by Microsoft. I guess the bottom line is I am more comfortable using VB. I would have to learn Delphi. My attitude...
Everyone, thank you for your input. With the help of others, I was able to work things out using VB. That's the way I am going to go.
Thanks Again,

Several weeks ago someone suggested I use InnoScript and InnoSetup to build my install files.
I now have a problem and I am asking your help. Via InnoSetup, I have a Output "Release.exe" file called "app300Release.exe". Since that file was built, I updated the application and now have...

I have written an application that I am going to try and sell. It is going to be given out as Shareware or Freeware with a 30 day full feature trial period. I have worked out the routine for the trial period but my problem is the...
vbCoder85:
After you install InnoScript and InnoSetup, print the InnoScript Instructions.
Next step: From your Window Folder, do a search on ".dep" files and copy them into a new folder. (For example: I called the folder: Dep-Files.)
If you are using HELP files, copy "wshom.ocx" into the...

I will be back to you tomorrow (Thurdsay 12/18/08) with details. In the meantime, why don't you download InnoScript and InnoSetup. They are both FREE products. The only cost that I have seen then ask for is "donations". I've been using them for about 2 months and have not sent any...

As you can see, the above question was never answered. What I did was to stop using Microsoft Package and Deployment system and started using a FREE package called InnoScript and InnoSetup. It took all the guest work out of "what to use". It also creates an "Uninstall" routine...

I am trying to programmatically change the Version Number that is shown in the ABOUT form, specifically the Revision. Must this be done through an API?
If so, I found this API:
Declare Function GetFileVersionInfo& Lib "version.dll"...
Problem Resolved:
In the Form_Load event of the first form I put this code:If App.PrevInstance = True Then
MsgBox "This program is already running!", vbCritical, "All Ready Loaded Error"
End
End If
Thanks to everone for their help.

I may be "thick headed" but I can not follow your post in reference to my question about reading/writing to the registry.
Please reply and explain.
Thank You,
Sam

Thanks for your valuable post. I modified my code a little and then added yours. It worked great.
Here is the modified code:Private Sub Command1_Click()

count = 1
Do Until count = 5
Load Frame1(count)
Frame1(count).Top = Frame1(count - 1).Top +...
Okay. You may want to look at my other post "Control Array Show problem".
Now that I have it LOADED, How do I UNLOAD THEM
Private Sub Command1_Click()
Load Frame1(1)
Frame1(1).Top = Frame1(0).Top + Frame1(0).Height + 50
Frame1(1).Visible = True
Load Option1(1)
Set Me.Option1(1).Container =...
