thx Silverblade, i already did the above mentioned steps but the screen is always dead. i am currently reading on some forums that i should wait about 30 minutes before the reset???? on other forums they mentioned that i need to re-install the phone firmware. any idea?

I found a parameter caller STCB (Station Camp-on Busy Allowed) in LD 15 (FTR). When i have set STCB = Yes, when the 2616 set transfers an incoming call to a busy DN, a busy tone is heard by the 2616 but the Ring Again feature will be deactivated. Thus, the problem is not solved completely...

But in case of 2616 set, the operator hears rings instead of busy tone when trasfering to the busy called party!!!!!!!
