We had the same, the phone 4602 was configured as 4610.

Is there a way to bring back to life phone that was discnnected while upgrading software ?
Now when I connect it to the power supply it just turn on message lamp and thats all....
You can buy special adapter to connect 2 headset to one phone. We are doing this way if new person comes to company and must listen conversation.
Other way is to use Service Observing feature to listen conversation from another phone.
We have S8700 and it's working over 2 years now without restart.
But our AIC (Avaya Interaction Center) indeed needs restart after 90 days if we don't want to have any troubles with it.

I have problem with phone 4610SW at one location.
Almost every day when man log to phone, and start taking calls he hear noises when somebody speaks to him.
Whem you reset phone everything goes to normal, but on the next day, we have this problem again.
I switched phone with the new one...
