4620SWIP Phone compatibility w/S8700 1

Hi, my customer is running a real old version of Communication Manager (1.3.0, to be exact). I connected a 4620SWIP phone, received the proper firmware upgrades from my TFTP server, yet the phone has no LCD display, although it has dialtone and sends the correct extension when I call another station on their switch.

Furthermore, I know their isn't anything wrong with the phone itself because I connected it to an IP Office and the display showed just fine.

I also checked Avaya's compatibility matrix and couldn't even find any detailed info on CM 1.3.0.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
maybe you entered wrong type of phone in station configuration ?
We had the same, the phone 4602 was configured as 4610.
Everything worked, except of LCD

I've had issues with 4620SW on 1.3.x as well. Had to get a dot release to the highest 1.3.x release to get everything to work.
