Spoof the Mitel UAS into thinking there is a Message waiting

I have tried the following however I still do like your idea: I tried sending the tones via SIP (failed). I tried sending the actual tones as WAV files (failed) Noe I cannot swear that the feature codes were set correctly so I will try again and let you know. Thanks for helping.

Spoof the Mitel UAS into thinking there is a Message waiting

Thanks for the suggestion. I am not certain that I under stand your definition of "feature code" however if you are referring to sending DTMF #99 (or whatever) then the answer is "yes" I have tried that. The problem seems to be the SIP interface which really does not like in-band DTMF. I have...

Inband DNIS from a Nortel ACD

Yes. I am an IVR programmer and have enough Telephony knowledge to be rather dangerous. The caller will enter the Nortel ACD and will be attached to the Symposium server. He will be sent to the IVR to be serviced but may need to be sent on to a "human" skill set. Does this help? I do really...

Inband DNIS from a Nortel ACD

Thank you John. I should have been a bit clearer. I understand that I can receive DNIS information in band but the rub is that I will then need to implement a transfer (hook / flash) are these two items mutually exclusive?

Inband DNIS from a Nortel ACD

Can I obtain DNIS information inband from Nortel switches in general or must I employ a CTI solution?
