Thank you John. I should have been a bit clearer. I understand that I can receive DNIS information in band but the rub is that I will then need to implement a transfer (hook / flash) are these two items mutually exclusive?

You need a little bit more info, why do you need to do a hook-flash are you going into a IVR

Yes. I am an IVR programmer and have enough Telephony knowledge to be rather dangerous. The caller will enter the Nortel ACD and will be attached to the Symposium server. He will be sent to the IVR to be serviced but may need to be sent on to a "human" skill set. Does this help? I do really appreciate your time here.

YOUR GOING TO NEED A LINE SIDE T1 CARD TO INTERFACE THE IVR AND THE SWITCH, THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO HOOK-FLASH
