That sucks... Is it just the dram chip that is different, or are the boards physically different? I might be convinced to take the soldering iron to it and replace the dram chip(s). (I did that with an old palm pilot). -

I'm using ubuntu. But in all honesty, I'd rather pay up 50$ to upgrade the router flash, be able to use the latest IOS, and install the tools on there instead of using up 20 gigs of my hard disk to install vmware+windows+whatever else is required only to run SDM? Especially since it's only for... -

Nope, it does not crash, it is as stable as can be! I can't see the crashinfo file in flash, and as far as I can see, there are no instructions in the config for debug or crashdumps. Am I better off just reformatting the flash and starting from scratch? -
