Has anyone ever had any issues on release 6_0_63 with 3102A telephones and paging. What we have found is that if anyone pages from a 3102B phone the page goes through properly. If someone with a 3102A phone pages the NBX locks and reboots. Another odd thing is wecant get into the programming...
Mike sorry did not see your response, It was hooked up to a CICS with 5.1 SW I believe. I tried every level of SW except 1.1 which I dont think I have. I will try that and you are right it does just keep rebooting.
Thanks for all the responses, much appreciated.
It is a 9V power supply that came off a newer call pilot. I watched it boot up and it waits, and then reboots again, this just continues. When I telnet I get a username and password prompt but have no idea what to enter. Everything on it should still be default IP address is definetely...
Well it came off a working CICS, I have tried a couple different KSU's and no luck. I was hoping to console in or through the browser and factory default it as I can't get it to come up on a KSU.
I have a callpilot Mini that was removed from a customer site. The default IP address never changed. The software release says rel 01 2003/02/04. I can ping it and telnet to it (don't know the password to get in though) When I connect it to any norstar system I cannot access it. I am not...
Thanks for the reply. I mis typed the software version. It is 6_0_63. I believe we installed 6.0.6, it looks like we installed the incorrect version of the CAS software. Where did you find that information, do you remember by chance?
We recently upgraded a customer from 4_2_15 to 6_0_69 and installed the latest CAS software at reception. It worked fine for a few weeks but has now started to get laggy and unresponsive at times. I am wondering if anyone has the system requirements for this software, nothing has been updated...
I have never written a pretranslator to include that. What would it look like, I do have a pretranslator to send out the CLID and it does show in the test tool, however it does say that it would send the number but the type is unknown. I just checked some other customers dial plans and that...
Just upgraded a customer from 4_4_12 to 6_0_63, multi site but I only have an issue with only 1 of the sites with a PRI, since the upgrade every call that goes out shows up as unknown. I have checked the pretranslator and used the test tool and it does say that it is sending the correct CLID...
You would need it for analog lines with call waiting. It doesn't exist on the VCX. I doubt this will help but feature + 260 is a hook flash on a NBX. You could give it a try.
When you RMA a hard drive you must call back into 3com and get the licenses transferred over. When you RMA'd the HD 3com will generally ask you what type and how many licenses you have on the HD that is bad. All you have to do is reference your RMA #. You cannot transfer the license backup to...
To use a 3rd party phone that is digital you would need to enable SIP, which in turn makes the native voicemail useless. There is no real alternative to buying 3com phones at this point.
Turn off sntp and just set the time on the nbx for a day or two and see what happens. If it keeps happening then it is NBX related. I have never seen this happen but I am sure there is some sort of clock controller chip.
