    Hi Agree SVM is easy to use for mirroring. Stripping will be the best to use for performance that will reduce the I/O wait and for redundancy (RAID 0+1) if you lose one disk you don't need to resync the whole side of the mirror only the failed stripe Hope this will help

    Hi must likely there is a bad inode somewhere I recommend to do an fsck on your partition to fix your problem. If the partition is the one used from /, you may need to start using cdrom, then mount the disk and perform an fsck Cheers

    Hi Agree, ipmp will be the right thing to use (previously nafo was used in solaris 8). But if you want a single IP address to connect to the Active node you will have to do extra work by creating a resource which will failover the IP over the new active host (in case of switchover). Cheers

    Hi You should use luxadm command instead of cfgadm and proceed with the same steps described by Mike042. But unfortunately the iostat command will still report the errors for the old disk and only a reboot will get rid off these errors. Cheers
