    NTDW79ABE5 PRI Card

Many thanks for the replies. It at least give me some hope that there is some infomation out there. Rather worrying that it seems to be a replacement for multiple E1 and T1 cards and there doesn't appear to be any programming information on it.

    NTDW79ABE5 PRI Card

I've just received delivery of a new PRI card for one of our Meridian Option 11's running 5.5. I was surprised to find it was the above card as I was expecting a 50AA as usual. Tried looking on the Avaya site but to no avail. Can't find any documentation on it there. I was wondering if anyone...

    Inserting digits on incoming E1

Hi all, I've been asked if it's possible to insert digits on an incoming E1 before dial plan matching or translation tables to isolate an overlapping dial plan issue. That is to say, so that the incoming digits from this PRI are dealt with differently to the existing numbers on the router. I...

using e1 qsig to connect nortel to mitel

If it's for an 11C have a look at the 2.0 Mb DTI/PRI NTP (553-3011-315) which should help you. Don't know about the Mitel end.

Locating PRI card in Option 81\CS100M

Try having a look in the chapter on Module Configuration in the System Engineering NTP 553-3001-151. It shows the typical layout for an 81C in terms of network groups. I haven't worked on 81C's for ages but I think the PRI card is in Network Module Group 1 Shelf 1 and the card will be in slot...

    Specs for 11c Mini

Does anyone have the specs for 11C Mini please? As the resident voice expert I've been given the job of planning the installation of a new 11C Mini. The local QC guys need to know the power consumption, weight and thermal load for the 11C mini and copper expansion. Unfortunately saying it...

    CS1000 range

Strange isn't it that Nortel make this so difficult!!! I was of the understanding that it's CS1000M Cabinet/Chassis = 11C with SS CS1000M SG = 61C with SS CS1000M MG = 81C with SS CS1000S replacement for 61C CS1000E replacement for 81C Any other thoughts??

    Problem with T1

AEST means awaiting establishment. This usually means that your dch is NET (master) and is waiting for a USR(slave) to reply. If you haven't got anything connected on the PRI (not in use), it's usually best to at least disable the DCH or out it completely. Check in ld 60 for the loop status...

    M39xx phones over fibre???

Many thanks for your replies and advice. The fibre remote sounds a good idea but redundancy might be an issue. I've got almost no experience on Call Centre stuff as I've mostly worked on networking. Would I need to upgrade to CS1k for the Symposium? How does Symposium connect into the...

    M39xx phones over fibre???

Hi Folks, Is there a FOLD able to translate from Meridian digital phones to multimode fibre? I've always been told that it's not possible as (a) the "B+d is not ISDN BRI standard and (b) on the 39xx phones it's a 2wire presentation. I've used Flexilink Solos for BRI's before but not for...

    Passport 6420 no longer supported????

I've been informed by a Nortel supplier that the 6420 with a CFP1 card is no longer supported. The supplier has informed me that a suitable replacement is the 7440 which is a no-go due to the difference in size. I've tried searching through the Nortel website and here and also spoken to Nortel...

Your TNB printout is for an M3905 which is a call centre phone and I don't think has hands-free available.

Opt 11 Compact to Opt 11 Mini swap clocking issue

I've never seen a Meridian work properly if the Passport clock source is bad (whether it's from another working trunk or from GPS). The Meridian spouts out loads of DTA300 alarms and then locks out the PRI. Are you getting loads of DTA300 alarms. Can you print out the counters from ld60 for the...

    RLOGIN software

Is there a software package that supports RLOGIN but is not freeware? Freeware is not accredited to be used on our system. Can anyone help please?
