Drive0 was replaced a couple of weeks ago, could this be the problem? It's been running fine for several weeks since the replacement, can errors occour like this suddenly show up after running fine for weeks?
TSM Server 5.3 on Windows 2000, 3584 Library.
Completely out of the blue my TSM server is giving a lot of read/write errors on several volumes on several drives. I can not conclude any logical in the source of this problem, that's going for 3 days now, starting each day at the reclaimation...
I use the TDP for Domino V5.3.0.0 . The backupped dominodatabases get correctly expired by there policy, but the corresponding logfiles (.TXN) doesn't get deactivated by domdsmc inactivatelogs. In the domina.log is recorded:
"Number of Logs Inactivated: 0"...So the TXN files stay active and...
This can only be done if you have multiple ip-addresses on the external interface of your firewall. If so, you can register the names by your ISP, then forward the appropiate ports to the correct servers

As for online documantation, they poit to the tsm 5.3 part of the site, and there is nothing else then the books i mentioned.
I always use "i disk", free and big advantage is that it can scan mapped networkdrives as well.

Right click, properties, security, there you can set the ntfs-permissions.
Check if the share-permissions have everyone full control-> right-click on the folder, go to sharing, button permissions.
Cant u point the scheduler to a different optionfile then the backup client? The scheduler with the generate setting, and the client with the prompted setting?
create a batchfile with the following:
Run the command "systeminfo" from a command prompt, pipe the outcome to a txt-file, let it copy the txt-file to a networklocation, filter out the info from all the files that you want ....
let the created batchscript run on startup
I think it's your MFT, your MFT can't be defragged online. Some commercial defraggers can defrag your MFT, like O&O powerdefrag or Speeddisk etc etc. As far as I know, there ere no free tools to defrag the MFT
