    Dial into each port?

Just a question, I have been out for about 6 mos. How would I dial into each dsp on a cs1000 that has 2 cards installed on it? Yet around 10 PRI's installed. I have done this for around 25 years, but had a stroke may 15th. Only need to be told then I am sure it will come to me

    OTM - Meridian Mail

Most installs I have seen have an A/B switch one side is for the local terminal and the other is for the modem. It looks like you are connecting to the modem but the A/B switch was left on the local side. Just a thought.

    IDC Limits?

I see in the NTP's where you can have 255 IDC tables, which are DCNO 1 etc. Is there a limit to entries in these tables? Does this effect call processing or memory? I'd just like to know before I enter a couple hundred and drop this 81c rls 5.0 to its knees Uh OH! Thanks!

    Meridian to Valcom V-2924A

Check your EOD (end of dial) timer in the route. I believe 4096 is what you may need

    DCH1030 errors

The following error I see in the NTP's as -buffer overflow for DCH on the MSDL card. Can someone tell me which MSDL or DCH it is refering to? I swapped the card that has DCH 1 and swapped cables on DCH 1 but still get this error a couple times a day. It doesn't seem to be affecting anything...

    acd output to pc

If it is a QSDI, then you have to check the dip switches to see what the port is set up for. If the terminal/commport is working now then you have it right, doesn't matter what dumb terminal emulator you are using. Have you tried disabling and re enabling the port? What does the PRT look like...

    acd output to pc

Look at STIO in the Queue again if you are getting status reports that is what you have built and that is a TTY . If you are looking for reports build a PRT and you will probably need a null modem Check ld 37 it should look like this if the printer port is good. TTY 0 : ENBL DES: SYSMON...

    acd output to pc

PRIO is for reports and I always build it as a printer not a tty, So in ld 37 type PRT 1 STIO is for Status displays and they are TTY's. For supervisors to have on their desk or on a hyperterm session. You may have gotten this already but I couldn't read through all the copied info. Good Luck
