hi- i am sending a digital image and i want to insert a "proof" or "watermark" over the image so it cannot be used by the recipient. later, i want to remove the marking. what is the best way to do this?
thx
hi. i have a page in illustrator that i am "saving for the web" as a gif. it right justifies the image when i save it.
any idea on how to fix this?
thx!
i'm pasting many, many layers into a template and usually working with black and white. it seems that the edges of the scans "show up" when pasted. to what degree do i need to retouch them? if i can see it, it will print, right? also, what magnification is appropriate for retouching...
simply put, my printer went ballistic. after about 5 hrs. it has been readjusted and all is well. lack of confidence w/PS led me to believe i had done something to the program. thanks for the reply.
Can i just open the jpeg in ps and then change the resolution to 300 and cut and paste it into my template? have i compromised anything by doing it that way?
that is exactly it. the logo is a jpeg at 125 resolution. what is the best way to get it to my template (300 dpi)without compromising clarity? it is about 4 1/2 inch wide and i need it to be about 5 inches. thanks for the help!
I know this must be a simple question, but i cannot figure it out! I have a logo that i "cut and pasted" into a template in photoshop. it is 4 1/2 inches wide originally, but transfers over at about 2 inches. the print size needs to be around 5 inches and i am hesitant to just scale it larger...
thank you for the help. the art is b&w line art...sketches and pen & ink...scanning actual size and using PSCS2...i'm not having trouble with the actual art, just those edge lines! thanks all! will definitely follow the suggestions!
i tried adjusting the contrast. maybe i did it wrong? it faded out my art too. i work with many layers, then flatten into one. then adjust contrast and they come back and i'm back to square one.
are there any other solutions? thanks so much.
that works sometimes, but many times the art goes to the edges and i cant get a clean "grab". i'll look into the scanner software. any other ideas? thanks!
i need some help. i am scanning drawing drawn on white paper into ps. the drawings are fine, but i am getting light blue scan lines along the edges of the paper. it is time prohibitive to keep erasing these. any advice on how to avoid this? i have tried to elimiate a shadow by placing a book on...
