I have two locations that have a very interesting issue. Most of the users see the hold button on their screen but for some reason a select few do not. Is there a setting in the Job Code or the Access Rights that would prevent this button from appearing for a group of users?

By the way it is in version 5.3.41

Why this is not working. I am using the expression <VAR(6:$S*0.015)> in my checkout.cfg file and the text before the calculatiuon prints but where the result of the equation should be there is nothing, just a blank spot.

YOU COULD DO IT WITH SOME MOD MENUS THAT ONLY HAVE ONE ITEM AND HAVE A MIN OF 1 AND A MAX OF ONE. THEN THE MODS WILL AUTO APPLY AND ALL WILL PRINT.

You could put the "Split Check" item in a non sales reporting group and setup a custom line on the checkout to show the amount rung for that reporting group.

The first thing I would check are the rights on the user you are using. You may have accidentally changed the back of house rights on this user.

they are most likely using the e-frequency program or a like product. if the internet is down the aloha system should cache the transaction and update the data to the site at the next available time. you "should" not loose transactions when the internet connection is down.

it would be <VAR(8:($Tnnnn+$Tnnnn)*0.10)> where you would include $Tnnnn for each cash tender setup and you need to use a leading 0 (zero) when using a number with a decimal in an equation.

where they able to check the old cards through aloha before the e-frequency cards were setup?

Look for a file named EGRIND. Delete the file and the grinding should stop.
