    Thanks Joe! It is an old Partner Plus. I assume the batteries are fine seeing as everything else on the system is in working order. They are not Hot swappable are they? I to power down first correct. TIA - Brian

    Heres the newest.......... I can now print from the laptop, but only if I disable the Norton firewall. I can not access files in either direction at all. I did deinstall & install the ethernet card & drivers, THANKS for the advice....
