In your database store the path where the image was stored.
Even u can store the path of your server.
inthe asp page
<%
set mycon=server.createObject("Adodb.connection")
mycon.open "file.DSN"
sql="select * from table where imgname='"specific image"';"...
Open winzip,
Add your .doc into it and make it as a .zip files.
Try the command in the HTml page.,
<a href="/word/filename.zip">Download</a>.
Once the user Clicks the Download button, it open the Save as dialouge box.
Regards,
Mathan.
Create a hidden field and give the value as
<input type="hidden" value="<%=now()%>" name="hvalue">
Once the form was submitted to other page do the coding
<%
dim v=request("hvalue")
set mycon=server.createobject("Adodb.connection")
mycon.open...
The Brower supports only HTML,and files that the browser can understood.
So if any file extension other than .htm/.html ,the browser automatically opens for save as dialouge box.
