Hi there.
We have an old Meridian Option 11 system. How can I get a list of what peoples name are set against each of the extension numbers?
i.e. when reception dials my number the display on the switchboard shows my name - same if I phone them etc.
I know how to change the displayed name but I...
We have a couple fo M3820 handsets in the office here and I need to show the users the key functions.
They have never been programmed and are straight as we bought them.
The manual is confusing me as it make mention of keys such as Transfer and Forward etc but no such keys are marked on the...
Hi again and thanks for the further replies. yes I am in the UK so I assume the system is using the TBR method that is mentioned.
I did check the switches on the phone and it was set correctly for this - set to TB.
I have given the user a different phone extension which can transfer calls OK, so...
I will check the settings on the phone but I have tried alternative handsets and at least one I know works on another extension.
Here is the TNB print though for the extension with the problem:

The phone is a standard analogue handset (type 500?)
The key used is 'recall' on these handsets. When she tries to transfer with this key nothing happens at all.
No busy tone, no dead line. It just doesn't do anything. It is most strange. I assumed it was a faulty handset but tried others...
Just my use of words I guess. Didn't think there was a difference between transfering and forwarding a call.
Problem is:
User answer phone, the caller then asks to speak to Mr X on Ext Y, she cannot put the caller through.
Will ppost TNB shortly though.
Andrew
I have a user on our Meridian Option 11 system who cannot forward any calls to other extensions using the recall button.
This has apparently only happened very recently and no changes have been made to my knowledge that would affect this.
I have tried different handsets - just standard...
We are having some problems with PC Anywhere.
Trying to connect to the host via dialup.
Works fine for most of the time then suddenly when we try and connect the display is garbled and broken up.
This will persist for a number of retries and eventually if left long enough between retries it...
I found this thread relating to the above question:
thread798-937843
Couple of quick questions regarding what it said.
Wold the instructions apply to generic handsets - type 500 I think?
Also what does this do (copied from above thread):

Hello again.
I have now had a closer look at the tn print for the extension number I need to change and it seems the FDN and EFD are set to the extension number and NOT the voicemail number:
Problem extension (2606):

Thanks again for the additional replies.
I am off for Christmas now :)) so will have a look at the options available to me in the new year.
Will let you know how I get on.
Andrew
Thank you for the replies but I may have confused you.
I want to set an extension that continously rings to forward to voicemail after 3 rings rather than force a the phones to ring forever.
Thanks
Andrew
We have an old Meridian Option 11 system with Meridian Mail.
Some extensions always revert to voicemail after 3 rings even when voicemail is 'off'.
How can this be set on extensions that just ring continously?
Thanks
Andrew
Off to a bad start I think. Tried the command to find spare TNs and get this:
LD 20
PT0000
MARP NOT ACTIVATED
REQ LUVU
SCH0101
REQ
Am I doing something wrong?
Andrew
