Hi all,
Thank you all for the replies. I was out of town and couldn't post the config but I'll get to it whet I get back from work.
What is curious is the interface was set with the ip address after erasing the existing startup config with the same settings as my other 2620 non-xm routers. All...
I have two 2620 non XM routers that work fine when ethernet 0/0 is configured with an IP address. They can talk to the world whereas my third, the 2620xm won't talk to anything unless configured for the 10.0.0.0 network.
Does this have something to do with the management interface?
Is there any...
Yeah, I figured it out later :-)
The question would have been Enhanced IOS or Standard IOS. Now I know but can't find what I need on ebay.

Thanks maczen, that was helpful although it looks like I'm a little out of luck at the moment. None of the Enhanced versions are available on ebay.
So, going back to the 2960 with LanLite image...
Thanks CiscoGuy33!
I will go for the 2950 switches but I hear people saying that 2950 vs 2950s would make a difference in the set of commands they support. I see lots of them on eBay but all are 2950 and not 2950s. Is there a way to tell that by looking at the IOS image?
Thanks,
Felix

I would stay away from Boson. It's waste of money unless you keep a ghost image of your OS. I bought the CCNA 7.0 version about an year ago and had to re-install my OS a couple of times then I found out it wouldn't activate anymore so I got in touch with the Boson team and told me I had to...
Hi All,
What do you think of getting a pair of 2960 SL (WS-C2960-24-S) switches for the ICND2 part?
They are running the LanLite IOS image so could be kind of crippled but at least they come cheaper as their -TTL brothers.
Or maybe a set of 2950 (non-S) series? I'm not sure what difference...
I would like to know what would be the annual/hourly wage for a Linux+ certified individual without having any experience as being employed but with 6 years Linux home experience.
Probably I will land in Portland, OR.
Thank you !
