>So your second group is in your overflow list of your first group?
yes.
>You have valid members in your second group either enabled within the group >and logged in if they are hot deskers?
there are valid members who are enabled. there are no duplicates between the two groups.
thanx for...
i have an 406V2 system running 4.0(7). i have a hunt group where the incoming calls go, which seems to work correctly.
i have a second hunt group, which i have configured as the overflow for the first group. unfortunately, the calls never make it here.
i set the system No Answer timer to 8...
Yes, this is a continueation of the previous thread, but with a new status.
i can still send the thing back, but was hoping to just get it fixed, and was wondering what the error message i was getting meant.
so, i loaded 3.2 (55) in the box, and after a day of fozziling with it, it now seems to hold on to a configuration where it understands there are DS ports, but the phones all say "local pbx mode incompatible" (even the 46XX ip phones say something similiar).
it is a step forward, but i cannot...
yes, the DS ports are there, they scan during boot, and they seem to power up the phones (the green LED comes on for the 4 DS ports being currently used, and the "lines" around the sections on the phone LCD come on).
i think that this must be some sort of software problem, either a bad load, or...
my SOE blew its brains out, so i got a new one.
the new one is interesting because it appears that the factory default configuration does not reflect the 8 digital phone ports.
what happened to them? how can i turn them on? i tried upgrading it to 3.2 (17), which is the rev the previous unit...
i have various 4600 series IP phones (4602, 4620, 4621), and they all have to time out the http before they will just tftp the files. is there a way to configure them to just tftp (or tftp first)?
if i want to connect one of these to an IPO SOE, do i need the seperate media processor module?
the IPOSOE is visible from the current 802.11g network we have, and i wonder if it will just connect or not.
thanx.
i am running some 5410's on an IPOSOE with the current version (3.2(17)?). i know i can program one of the programmable buttons to toggle hands free internal answer on and off, but how do i get the phones to have this feature on by default?
i cant find any refrence to this in the 2410/5410...
so, if i want to connect a non-avaya IP phone, or an ATA, to the IPO, i need a license.
where do i get licenses? how much do they cost? what increments are they available in?
thanx.
so, when migrating from an older merlin system to IPO, can the old BIS/HFAI phones be used on DS ports? it appears that some old merlin/definity phones can, so that is why i ask . . . .
i doubt it, but if you dont ask . . . . . .
