I am having a couple of issues with the call database in Telephony Manager.
First, I am prompted several times for the CDR.OrigDevice and CDR.TermDevice when opening the database. It will open without entering any information when prompted, but I can't determine what it is asking for...
I am working on a project for e911 at one of our call centers. I have a list of 100 DIDs, and was wondering if there is a way to translate them to the extensions they represent. I am aware that I can use the IDC table; I was just wondering if there were other options.
biv343, your post gave me the answer. They were picking up before the second ring sometimes. The other part of the problem was a miscommunication. They were seeing the caller ID information; it just wasn't the part they wanted first.
Thanks again for the assist!
They are analog lines. Calls are not answered by AA. It may be that the receptionists are answering before the 2d ring.
Thanks for helping me. That gave me a few things to think about.
I am trying to set up caller ID for a new BCM50, and seem to be stuck. I have verified that CLID is set up on the incoming lines, I have checked that the Caller ID sets for each of the incoming lines, and I still cannot see Caller ID information on the phones. I see which line the call is...
We found out today when we checked our Network Skillsets on the NCC that most (but not all) of the skillsets we have built are grayed out under the "Networking Method" column, preventing us from making changes. Has anyone seen this before, or know what would lock these options?
Thanks!
I just purchased two 1120E IP phones, and got a prompt for an admin password. I have read in other threads that this password can be found in the NTP, but I am not finding it. Can someone tell me what NTP references this information?
We have set up other 1120Es at our facility (I have one at...

We just set up three new routes on our switch, and we noticed that we were not getting call data on the new routes.
I went to ld 16 to change the CDR option to YES on the three routes. I checked back later and noticed that they were showing NO for CDR. I made the changes again. We thought...
