Thanks ZeroZeroOne. I like the holiday table idea. I'll take a look.
AvayaGuy23, would you mind saying more about your "route to" concerns?
Appreciate this forum!
Thank you for the great suggestions, Zero Zero One. I like your voicemail idea, but we don't want the employees to do this themselves. We also have off-net outcalling turned off, and I'd rather not turn it on for these two extensions.
I haven't messed around with vectors and variables in quite...
Hi, I’m trying to figure out a one-touch or very-low-touch way for the Telecom admin staff to forward two extensions to a rotating employee each week. The rotating employee is not an agent, so we don’t want to build an ACD queue for this.
Ext 1 and ext 2 do not live on desk phones, but are...
We are on Outlook 2010, and I finally gave up on Desktop Messaging because of multiple issues. I didn't know that combined inbox was a known issue. With separate inbox, they won't get the voice mail on a mobile device, correct? Which, to me, defeats the whole purpose of "anytime, anywhere"...
I had to stop using this product. Too many issues with user PC's. Exclusively use message forwarding rule now. It's a shame, because when it works, it's awesome!
I thought this was just a feature the admin turns on in CallPilot Manager. You set the code for callers to press for dial-by-name, and you can toggle individual mailbox subscribers on/off as to whether or not they can be reached this way. It's clunky, I don't love it.
I don’t think this is possible, but I thought I’d run it by this group.
CS1K 7.5, AACC 6.2. Call center manager requests that one certain skillset, which is tied to a certain CDN (a dedicated incoming DID number), ring distinctly from other ACD calls on agent phones: M3905’s. I know you can...
Yeah, that's the first thing I'll check. Just happened again, so going up to replace her phone now. As we install more and more IP sets into the enterprise, I need to know if this is going to be "a thing.
Avaya promised a lengthy period of support when they bought Nortel, and I'm glad to see 7.6 is GA and fully supported for at least the next five years. The Nortel footprint worldwide is just too big for them to abandon us or force upgrades. True, it gets tricky - as with any system - when you...
Hi, I have a handful of 1140 IP phones that have overall been pretty reliable. Today a strange problem: a user had her phone do a spontaneous reboot three times in about a 30 minute period. About 10-12 minutes apart. Been OK for a couple hours now.
To me, the most obvious explanation is the...
Two CS1K’s, two sites: one “system.” Primary call server and backup call server. Geo-redundancy. Database is backed up to backup site during midnight routines and to removable media each night. Question about setting up IP phones.
Vendor recommended setting up 1140E IP phones like this...
I feel dumb. I swear I’ve been buildling IP sets for quite some time with my new CS1K setup, but this is bugging me now. Here’s the question:
In building a new IP set (1140E), Server 1 is the geo-redundant (GR) site, and Server 2 is the main site. All sets are built in main CS1K through CLI...
Thank you Don, didn't work. I can't enter a comma, but there is a PAUSE button that looks like adds a dash at the end of the number, and seems to add 3-4 seconds per dash. Tried one through six dashes. No dice. I appreciate the suggestion though.
We are having a strange problem where just one model of fax machine - Xerox WorkCentre 4118 - can't send faxes to eFax or MetroFax numbers (it's the same company), at least in our area code, 916. Have isolated issue to the Xerox 4118. Four different 4118's consistantly exhibit the problem...
I don't have a drive E:, and F: is an external USB backup for the system. Do you know what file type the voice volumes are so I can search for them? This is a 202i, 5.0. Win2003 Server OS.
Where are the user messages stored on the CallPilot server? We partitioned the server into C: and D: drives. C: has plenty of free space, D: does not. Asking because getting ready to allow much more message forwarding (as .wav's), which means more users will likely be ignoring their mailboxes...
