We have a call center where the 3904's are programmed with FND and HTD so all calls will not be bouncing all over the place and going back to the operator. The first line is for inbound and all phones have a roll up key programmed for outbound calls. Is there a way to program the phone to...
We have a 100A 226 TIP/RING PP AVAYA W/POWER to connect to a 6416 and we are not sure how to do this. The PBX guy is more Nortel and not sure how to do this. Anyone have any idea how this peice connects? I have never seen it myself and we are trying to walk a security guard through it 500...
We tried the above steps and were not able to get it work. We continue to get a busy signal on that line. Is there a certain feature package that we need or something else we are missing?
We have a 6416 phone that we need to program a modem on and we have never done one on a Avaya. On a Nortel we use an ATA and just program on the TNB, on the Avaya we think it requires a data extension, but we are really lost on this one...any ideas?
Thanks in advance
We have several phones programmed to hunt and forward to a CDN that is set for a Genesys strategy to reroute to agents. It works fine, until the agent has both lines tied up and it will then ring busy instead of hunting to CDN. Is there a CLS that we are missing in these?

We have several phones out there that are hunting and forwarding to a CDN (7803) and we need to find a way to generate a list of these. Does anyone know a way to printout just the phones that forward to thsi cdn without using OTM or MAT.
Report is off on all of them. We had MAX and had to remove it for more room last year. We have enough licenses, but when this happens to a login..we have yet to be able to use it again.
We are using Symposium link for a connection for Genesys CTI. We have been having to reallocate logins every week, because the users will try to use them and every now and again one will stop working and the "invalid entry" displays on the 3904's. We do not see where any agents are using these...

Thanks to everyone for such great help. We have tried several of the options and purchasing anything else is not going to fly with my boss. The only thing we know to do is what John mentioned of sending the call out and back in since the PBX will not allow us to strip the DNIS. I'm concerned...
John..do you know of any other way than going out and back in? Would this not tie up one LD (assuming they call on LD trunk) and one local for the duration of the call?
We are having issues with calls passing from a Open Speech Attendant (OSA) application to the PBX and DNIS. The issue is that OSA must go through GVP first based on DNIS. When the caller is directed from GVP to OSA and says a menu in OSA the call will default everytime as the GVP menu is...
We are trying to figure out how to make the phones ring while person is on call rather than the inaudible buzz we get now. I know it is in CLS, but unsure what code it is though. Can anyone help?
We had a lot of issues from calls getting stuck and we wore our support phones out clearing DN's. We moved earlier this year to 4.5 on the PBX and Nortel loaded a ton of patches and we rarely ever see this anymore. If you upgrade to Tserver 7.2 and check the patches in the switch you will most...
