I have an mlx-10d phone that has pool 891 (which is our fax pool) programmed on one of its buttons. The phone rings on every inbound fax call received. I would like to remove it from the phone, but I do not know how.
I tried programming it a different feature, but get an error. I would just...
Hi Tom, Thanks for your response.
The ES2 seems to log the user into all Calling Groups they are included in..it never asks me to enter in a default Calling Group.
In reference to the voicemail rollover. I have all calls go directly to AA. From there they can prompt out to the specific...
Hello All, I cannot get a calling group set to AutoLogin to roll to voicemail. So, I set the group to AutoLogout and I am attempting to program the phone at the extension (4406D+ and MLX-5) with a Login/Logout button.
I can set the button to *764 or *765, but I cannot figure out how to set...
Thanks for the update Tom. If i program a phone, say 4406D, to have a button to grab an available outside line, and then dial a telephone number, either local (70) or LD (890), will the ARS table still route the call correctly, or when you assign a button to grab next available line, do you...
Thanks ttech.
For clarification, my set up is currently as follows:
LDT1 (inbound toll free, outbound LD); TRK 801-824; Pool 890
Local; TRK 825,826,827,828,833; Pool 70
Inbound Fax; TRK 829,830,831,831,834; Pool 891
Outbound faxing and outbound calling follow the ARS tables:
Toll Free...
Tom, you rock! Thanks for the info. I see your name all over the forums and it is appreciated. I will try it this weekend and let you know how it goes.
THanks,
Mike
Hello All. There was an older post on this, but I have some new questions that it didnt answer:
Currently my fax lines are configured to use the existing pool 70 for outbound calling. We use an access code of 9 for outbound calling so fax numbers come through with 9,,011etc. Sometimes, this...
Ok, I have to admit I made a mistake. But, I have to admit that all is working now! Thanks to all of your help.
I did a print of the extension directory:
A 7/15 4170 FAXSVR3 N N N N U 3 N 7/16 4171 FAXSVR4 N N N N U 3 N
A 8/ 1 7172 VM1 N N Y N U 0 N 8/ 2 7173...
Merlinman, yes, they are set to unrestricted.
Tom, selector code 4 is for direct extension transfer, (i still need to redo my autoattendant to make code 5 a direct extension transfer too), I also use *t to test both ranges. Any 4100-41xx (except the ones that i moved to the node location) ring...
Thanks Tom.
I took the VM extensions x7172-x7179 (for my 8 ports)...I made sure that Rotary Enabled was set, that they were unrestricted, TrunktoTrunk is enabled, RCF enabled...but still cannot get to Slave site through the automated attendant...but i can transfer to it fine from any Master...
when hitting *t, i am prompted for extension, i type in x4132 I hear hold music for a couple of seconds and it rings out to the operator...same thing as when i try extension without hitting *t.
Any Idea?
cool, i didnt know that you could do it without the switch numbers...i guess i was taught differently because i had central VM set up. But , in any case, I have the switch numbers on the Point to Point, and it is still failing. I double checked what Tommy mentioned earlier...and I am still...
I dont think it has anything to do with the switch numbers as I had to program them to get the networking accomplished previously. I thought it might have been a restriction problem, but as Tommy recommended, i checked the restrictions on the VM ports..they are all good now, but still getting...
Yes, all phones internally can transfer and call the extensions that I moved to the other site (i.e. x4132). The only thing that is not working, is when someone dials our main number, the auto attendant picks up. Normally you can directly dial an extension, but when dialing x4132, the call...
Pepperz, yes, voicemail is set up for x4132
Tommy, VM Extensions are set to Unrestricted (they were outside restricted), FRL was 3, and added x7172 - x7183 (the VM extensions) to Trunk to Trunk Transfer....but still does it is still bouncing out to Master site operator when trying to dial...
LS Disco is already on...any other ideas? Also one additional question: I had x4132 in calling group 780 on the Master switch. When i renumbered 4132 to 7132, the group now has 7132 in it. I would like to put x4132 in that group...how would I accomplish that now? WinSPM has a NonLocal UDP...
Pepperz, I got everything working (relabeled x5132 to x4132 on Slave, updated the nlupd, etc)...except for one thing. When i call our main office number, an auto-attendant picks up...I used to be able to hit x4132 and it would ring to the Master site phone, but for some reason it doesnt get...
