BGE can be downloaded and that will fix problem. BCME is not fully supported on Solaris 10 10/09 using Blades. A new BGE is being worked on I believe by Oracle and will replace BCME, that's it and thanks for your input cndadams.

It looks like the other driver bcme has removed numerous refrences to bge. This directory is now empty /devices/pci@0,0/pci8086,3604@1/pci8086,3500@0/pci8086,3514@1/pci1166,103@0 and prtconf -v|grep bge shows nothing configured. Probably need a download from Broadcom, unless anyone knows how...

Solaris10 /Oracle 10, Oracle Clustering. Nothing reported in system messages or fmadm, nothing in alerts, nothing in rac files, just crashing sometimes side1 or 1 and lately 1 & 2. Memory / CPU good but I/O high on some SAN disks, cannot find any clues.

iostat -En on Solaris9 would display disk in descriptive mode cXtYdZ but this appears not to work in S10. I am trying to equate an ssd to an actual disk. Any ideas please as to why this no longer works?
