Thank you both..... with the help of a coworker who was "trained" on the system 8 years ago, and his notes that said you need to put the local area code in even though it was not dialed, we found or rather didn't find anything other than the expected calls.... as with most requests like this we...
I have a need to find out how often an outbound call to a spacific number was placed and by what extension. I have 4 switch's SMDR tied to Aimworx. I cannot find any report selection that will search for calls to a spacific outside number..... am I missing it???
I have a 2620 that I make changes to and they work fine. It gets powered off and back on and the changes are gone...
How can I be sure they are saved, and am I forgetting a step??
Thanks for any help..
Thank you, I had a few minutes and got to look in the feature programming manual and the command manual. It looks easy enough.....but I've been fooled by NEC before!!!! I believe it's one of those things you don't try on Friday!!!! Again, thanks fot the help.......
OK, 2000 school was 4 to 5 years ago, and I have done very little (just key assignments mostly) programming on our two 2000s. I mostly work with our 2400s, but don't need to do much on our phone systems (they never need it!! Good thing!!) Mostly support systems other than phones....
Here's...
AH HA!!! I found an IPS user manual on line... to cancel, user has to press * after pressing FWD ALL... or press call FWD CANCEL code (I assume #5 as you said). Thank you for your response.
OK for analog, but this is a DTerm.... I am using a line / feature key, to make the phone function like it would on our 2400s. Come off hook, press FWD ALL key (programmed in CMD 90 as F0010) receive stutter DT, enter number to FWD to, receive service set tone and button lights up. That part...
I have an IPS with a DTerm station that won't cancel a forward all. The only way I could cancel it was to use MOC and enter CCC to clear the forward to number entry. The button in CMD 90 is programmed as F0010 (forward all / cancel) I'm more into our 2400s and don't work on our two 2000s that...
I've been getting requests for wireless headsets for our call center (about 15 positions in about 2500 square foot room with low (3 foot) modular furniture). I've been resisting because I don't want to waste tech time with static, noise, and dead battery complaints. Currently they use...
Hmmm..... I'll have to try a "real" lens that has no card in it.. (getting real scarce in our switch). In the old days with our IMG it would have said "package check", but I have never tried it in the IPX!!! We have up to len 021XXX as our last "real" hardware, but the assignment in AUNT and no...
Wow, that's one heck of a lot of driving for just one service call!!!! If I program the buttons as function 49, individual speed dial, (to another virtual that is cf'd outside), then the user could mess with the programming of the 49 key. I can't program a virtual (tec = 18) as a hot line, hot...
Ozzie, That's a good thought about the speed dials (kind of like the goofy memory allocation for speeds in a 2000 IPS - I never really understood that one, as we only have 2 IPSs (25 to 30 stations) at very small plants) we don't use individual speeds on the phones with the add on modules...
Thanks for the Tips..... I've been too busy doing other stuff to deal with the PBX (and the add on modules are working OK) but the error message bothers me, so I hope I will have some time next year (Ha Ha) to pull cards and have a look. The thing is the switch was ALL NEW in 2002. (that does...
Thanks for the suggestions.... I did not know there were "stack" issues with the IPX ....... I remember them well from the IMGs .... Since I did not do the original programming of the 2 stations & add on modules, I'll have to look closely at the lens assignments....
This is a 2400 IPX, I have 5 DTerm series E stations with DCU-60-1 add on modules. 3 of them program & work just fine. Two of them give an error when you program the AKYD but seem to work. the error: "IMG Multi Line or PS appearance on Dterm data Invalidity(Package is not support). (Error...
keypad,
Thanks for the tip about the + at the lower left!!! I thought that there was an easier way than to add 5 years worth of new "adds" one at a time ...... Oh well.... NEC (Never Ever ???)
When I watch the collector SMDR tab (I think it was) I do see an occasional "unknown switch" go by...
hmmmm..... I know that AimWorx was touted as an SPE (single point of entry) for programming phones voicemail etc. ..... My boss (5 years ago) used it to program about 6 phones on a remote switch that was tied to it..... it took him about 10 minutes...real slick (well not really!!) it took me...
I might hazard a guess that the dropping resistors to the 7 segment displays are slightly cooked from heat over time. By cooked I mean that their value has increased so the led displsy is not normal brightness... That's just "shootn' from the hip"!!
I have AimWorx 4.5 that has been in service for several years on 4 NEC switches (2each 2400 IPX and 2each 2000 IPS) all set to send their SMDR to one of the 2400s (over CCIS), then on to AimWorx. My question: AimWorx needs to "learn" the extension numbers that have been added to the various...
