Does anyone know if there is a way to turn up the
brightness of the date and time display on this OLD console.
All of the LEDs by the keys are fine and the unit works
well but, the name, date, and time are very, very faint.

I might hazard a guess that the dropping resistors to the 7 segment displays are slightly cooked from heat over time. By cooked I mean that their value has increased so the led displsy is not normal brightness... That's just "shootn' from the hip"!!

Has anyone ever used terminal services from a smartphone or pocket PC phone to connect to a NEC 2400?
