well i guess you wouldnt unless you had a time machine to go back and find out why, but i thought i would ask the question anyway.............................?!!?
On a slightly less sarcastic note, thanks for replying. No, I havent attempted a restore as I have nothing to restore from and the...
Im sorry to see so many people still having problems even after reading my walkthrough. I should have mentioned that I installed it in VMWare and not directly onto a machine. The host OS was Windows XP.
My walkthrough should work for non MCS (non generic) platforms.....
I tried the other...
Hi all
I have SBS 2003 running and OWA has been fine. I had to unplug the machine whilst I sorted out the rack so I shut it down as normal. Once it has powered back up OWA has stopped working!!! I have looked in IIS manager and all the files from the exchange folder have gone? So when i browse...
Hi Guys
Thanks for the replies. I have changed it to use the MAC of my PC, now it wont connect at all. Someone has mentioned that we need licenses for the CIPC and use CTI ports?
Anyone shed any light on that?
Thanks
Hi All
Could someone give me some pointers as to why when more than one person is using CIPC on the LAN, the other person gets booted off and then is logged into extension mobility with the number of the person who just got booted off?
Any ideas?
sounds like you need to upgrade the IOS. For your own safety I would change your telnet password and perhaps think about changing your SNMP community string as from your config anyone whos a little bit dodgy could telnet on to your router and perhaps run DDoS attacks from it, or at least try and...
forgive me if i have the wrong end of the stick, but you will need to configure another IPSec tunnel from site B to C would you not? And it looks like B only has a crypto map for site A?
crypto isakmp policy 1
hash md5
authentication pre-share
group 2
crypto isakmp key Make1up address <peer address>
crypto ipsec transform-set set1 ah-md5-hmac esp-des
(this is assuming that single des is appropriate for your needs)
crypto map vpn-traffic 10 ipsec-isakmp
set peer <peer...
try pinging with the DF bit set, if this fails then you know that the carrier does not allow packets with the DF bit set to 1 and the way around this is to setup a GRE tunnel between the routers as GRE traffic has the DF bit set to 0 by default and then all in tunnel traffic can have the DF bit...
Follow my post in this thread word for word and you should have no problems..

If you still have issues then dont use the 2000.2.7u upgrade, use an older one, like 2000.2.5
Provided the current IOS you have supports a WIC 1T then when you boot it back up you will have a Serial0/0 interface ready for you to configure, it will most probably be admin down though.
Sorry didnt realise you were using SDM.
conf t
int d0
no ip inspect DEFAULT100 out
exit
This will remove the IOS firewall from the interface, but not delete it incase you want to reapply it to the interface.
You will need to construct an outside acl permitting traffic back in though as doing...
Question1:- As a H323 gateway.
Question4:- in global config mode caller-id enable, unless of course you have already specified any CLID commands under the voice port in which case caller-id enable will already be applied.
I didnt know about caller-id not working MGCP..........
I would almost definately say that the IOS firewall is the problem. Remove it and use an ACL instead.
Everything else looks good. You can see the tunnel passing traffic so I would put my money on the IOS firewall.
yeah if you can.
make sure you mask any passwords.
Also show the output of show crypto isakmp sa and show crypto ipsec sa (unless there are a lot of tunnels configured)
