There is an onboard lithium battery attached to the motherboard. It's circular and about 15mm in diameter. It does'nt seem to want to come out. It is clipped at one side.
Is there a technique for removing/replacing these batteries?

I've been successfully using Hyperterminal on a W98 PC linked to the Meridial Op11 using serial cable & nul modem.
Everything works OK - VT100, 9600,8,N,1.
I want to dispose of the old PC, so tried hooking exactly the same cable to W2003 server using Hyperterminal with same settings...
Nothing on the desktop or program files works. Every .lnk link is not working. It would be impossible to restore each one separately. I'd prefer not to have to reinstall the OS, but that would be quicker than trying to restore every lnk.
