Hello,
I'm having a run of mgcp pri's struggling with isdn l2 registration lately and looking to setup some monitoring that will alert on b channels that are down.
Most of these issues have traced back to the carrier, but I did have a rather large outage recently on a 3945 with 12 pri's on...
Hello,
I'm trying to push cdr data out of my M1K's, but the feature seems to overlap with the gateway's syslog process. All I really want is the piped CDR data w/o any of the syslog bs, but that's all that I'm seeing in my (Scannex) buffer.
Anyone tried this?
Thks.
Hello,
Planning on pushing SP 9 Patch 3 this weekend and was checking the MM downloads page and found that patch 4 is out. Under it's description, it states the below:
**After upgrading the Message Store Server from Service Pack 9 to Service Pack 10 or higher, the Message Store Services fail...
Ran into this issue and came across thread 1496-1648240
The issue for us turned out to be pbx extensions that were either conflicts or administered incorrectly.
Cheers.
Hello,
We recently deployed a MM 5.2 multi site with a qsig integration from CUCM 7.8 using a Mediant gateways.
My understanding is that the gateways will provide sip to sip normalization from non-Avaya sip capable pbx's into MM, but I'm not seeing any documentation or case studies out there...
Thks. It's an MSS backend.
Finding out that doing bulk mailbox number changes is quite a pain in the rear....unfortunately.
Mailbox manager isn't compatible up to 5.2, vmenable isn't supposed to be used this way, and ASA can't use anything other than the mailbox number itself for the change...
Morning,
Looking to do a bulk modification of mailbox numbers using vmenable on a 5.2 multi-site. Basically doing a re-alignment of a subset of users and don't want to change the mailbox numbers manually.
Just to be sure, this job will only impact the users that it's run against, correct...
Hello...hopefully easy question here.
Wondering if the recipients of a broadcast message in a large, multi-organization environment can be managed by modifying the sender/recipient communities that the broadcast message is able to send to.
For example, if you put the broadcast mailbox in...
Hi All....
Anyone know if a SIP endpoint administered through an SES server and set up with an off-pbx-telephone reference and an xported station in CM requires a normal station license/rtu? I'm having a hard time naling that down.
Hello...
Anyone out there ever used a CitelLink Digital Phone Gateway? It looks pretty interesting.
http:// www.abptech.com/products/citelGateway.html#comp
sure....but if it's an eas type group then you need to have an agent id, and they're kinda tough to deal with on a softphone (vs ip agent). if it's an old school ucd type hunt group, then you can just assign it to the group.
I haven't seen much on this out here, but it's causing us enough grief that we now want to disable it.
I don't see a way in the vm config where I can just disable the zero out/receptionist option so that when a caller is in a mailbox and they press zero, it just says that that option isn't...
you could also test it to see if it generates some kind of error code, and/or trace the ip station at the time of the logout to see if it's separating correctly.
i had a similar issue a few years ago, but can't remember exactly what the resolution was.
you may want to elaborate on the term "remote", and how you want to use it.
there is a feature access code that allows managers to log an agent off a phone remotely, but there isn't a feature code to do the same on a login action.
if you're referring to an agent working from home, or other...
try the location command in the ars administration.
for example, your 450 might be location 2 (if it's your only gateway), and you'd set up an ars table for that location, using the route patterns that you built for that guy's trunks.
we don't have a kvm available in this rack, but we were just going to hook up a keyboard and mouse and see how that goes.
seems like a kvm would work though....it's probalby just looking for devices on those ports.
i want to think of these as servers, but i guess they're really just souped...
We recently removed the monitor attached to our cms server for space reasons (and because we dont' use it), and this had the classic un-intended effect of messing the reboots up. Evidently if the monitor isn't there, it waits for it to be hooked up before coming back all the way.
Anyone know...
