Vmenable Job Confirmation

Morning,

Looking to do a bulk modification of mailbox numbers using vmenable on a 5.2 multi-site. Basically doing a re-alignment of a subset of users and don't want to change the mailbox numbers manually.

Just to be sure, this job will only impact the users that it's run against, correct? I.e., if I only have 20 mailboxes I want to change and those are the only objects in the csv file, it won't do something like disable all the others who aren't in the file, correct?

Correct on your last assumption. I'm assuming this is MM for Exchange? You didn't say but vmenable can only be used for the Exchange backended systems.

Thks. It's an MSS backend.

Finding out that doing bulk mailbox number changes is quite a pain in the rear....unfortunately.

Mailbox manager isn't compatible up to 5.2, vmenable isn't supposed to be used this way, and ASA can't use anything other than the mailbox number itself for the change index.

unimax (the maker of mailbox manager) I think has a product to use with 5.2, although it is not free.
