Hi Since you are working in Win2K domain, Before you shut down the dc, you will have to check if the PDC Role belong to this server. if so, transfer the role to another DC and you wont have problem with users trying to login, this is true if you are using NT4 Workstations. Birdy

Hi. If the user has no Modify permissions on the "C:\Program Files\Network Associates\VirusScan" folder, give him the Modify permissions Also check the "Replace permission entries on all child objects..." and then it will work. Birdy
