Opening a new window in a drill down

You're right. According to IBI, opening a new window is just not possible from a PDF file - it is not implemented. I can't use HTML for the report, so I'll have to think of a workaround. Thanks for the response.

    NvQTwk or NvCplDaemon Error

I have downloaded the latest drivers. Do I have to uninstall the old drives first? How is that done?

    NvQTwk or NvCplDaemon Error

I'm getting the following error on startup: NvCplDaemon Registry(Machine Run) RUNDLL32.EXE NvQTwk, NvCplDaemon initialize. I have reinstalled the drives 3 times now but to no success. Any suggestions?

Using "wrap" gives a blank line

I have a report that fits nicely on one page. One of the field is long, but it does fit, most of the time. When there are a lot of records, some of the data is longer so that the columns automatically get larger; sometimes this causes the report to be too wide and the report is spread out on...

Opening a new window in a drill down

I have a report that lists the number of records in a batch file (PDF format). I created a link from the batch number to a drill down report that will display the records in that batch file (again, PDF format). I am calling these reports from a web page. The link to the new report works, but I...

    Reading from a text file

I need to read from a text file. The file is a series of different records, each record with specific fields defined. The records are distinguished by the 3 and 4 characters of the record. I tried to use a FILEDEF statement to specify where the file was located, but for some reason I can't seem...

    Missing activeex.dll

After I converted an Access 97 database to Access 2000, the converted database would not compile. I found out that activeex.dll was missing. I copied an old version of activeex.dll from an NT machine, but the converted database still would not work. Is this an install problem? When I installed...

I have an Access 97 database that I

Thanks for the responses. activeex.dll was indeed missing. After I unchecked it, the routines worked fine. Is there any way to make this change permanent? After I closed the db and reopened it, I got the same error message as activeex.dll was still checked. I'll also see if I can install it...

I have an Access 97 database that I

I have an Access 97 database that I am converting to Access 2000. When I try to perform any operations that utilize VBA I get the following message: Compile Error Can't find project or library. As far as I can tell, the VBA objects are installed. I looked in the object browser and found the...

    Blank lines on reports

I have figured out the problem and it had nothing to do with the report itself. The data on file for some fields was not blank as I had assumed. It was actually set to 602 spaces. When I trimmed the spaces off the data, the report looked as it should. Thanks for the help...

    Blank lines on reports

I have a report that has 3 large text fields on a report. I have selected that they "Can grow" and "Can shrink". The first record is quite long and each text field is 3 lines long. All records after that, even though most of the fields are shorter and in some cases blank...

Windows Me and the "Sendto" command

Windows Me and the "Sendto" command

In Windows NT I have added NotePad, WordPad and EditPad to the "Sendto" command (You can get the "Sendto" command by right clicking on a document). This is very helpful in looking at non-standard text files. How can I add shortcuts to these programs to the...
