Economical (read: CHEAP!) tape trays for filing cabinet?

Ok so we have two copies of every tape go to two separate offsite secure storage locations. Since we have two copies of everything, we are not required to put them in fireproof safes. So we store the AIT tapes in standard lockable file cabinets. Does anyone know where I can buy some CHEAP...

Dumb newbie question - Checking current version #

Thanks a lot. I knew it must be easy. I'm on 3.0(69) looks like. Looks like I ought to go for an upgrade...

Dumb newbie question - Checking current version #

I have three IPO's, of different sizes, on campus. One 412, connected by T1 to a second building. Second building has a 406. Then there is a fiber link to a third building with a Small Office Edition (is this a 403?). I want to check up on my vendor's support and want to make sure of what...

Calls to Hunt Group never go to Voicemail -- always to AA

Under the Specific tab, set the Destination to the extension # assigned within the Hunt Group. Remember that the Hunt Group resides on a different IPO than where the calls are coming in (the PRI).

Calls to Hunt Group never go to Voicemail -- always to AA

The groups are all "In Service" not Night Service The phones ring as programmed in the hunt group, but no matter what I do to Allocated Answer Interval, Overflow Time, etc., the call will only ring the hunt group for about 10 seconds, then it goes back to the start of the attendant.

Calls to Hunt Group never go to Voicemail -- always to AA

I have a two-building campus, IPO406 in one building, 412 in other building. Voicemail server is located with the 412. Calls come in to auto attendant and get routed to any hunt group; the call times out at the hunt group (no matter what I do in the hunt group settings) and gets dumped back to...

Overhead paging using Analog Out - must go Offhook?

Sorry, should have mentioned. This analog 8 is hooked up in a sys with an IP412, V3.0(59) I think it is.

Overhead paging using Analog Out - must go Offhook?

Our vendor set up one of the ports on our Analog-8 to do overhead paging, with the pair hooked up to a mute module on the in-house music system. The problem was, you couldn't hook the analog out directly up to the inputs on the audio system. The only solution I could find was to put a splitter...

Multiple Users on 'phantom' extensions share one real phone

Another good suggestion. Thanks, really, I mean it in spite of what I'm about to say. It seems that there must not be an easy way for one physical extension to receive the calls of users from four virtual extensions? All of the suggestions received so far seem to be saying that the users...

Multiple Users on 'phantom' extensions share one real phone

In a perfect world, each person would have his or her own office, computer, phone, and filing cabinet. That will not be so. Appreciate the suggestions, everyone, but what I have is this situation where multiple users on duty share one desk. I just want calls from each to ring to the one desk...

Multiple Users on 'phantom' extensions share one real phone

Thanks folks for the direction to go to HotDesk but the problem is there is only one phone in one office, and there are multiple managers on duty at any one time. The idea was to have all the flow to the USERS go to the shared physical extension; not for individual users to time-share the...

    IPO406/412 Setup Directory ON PHONES

Thanks for the info but what I am really looking for is an on-phone directory not voice based, but based on the phone display. (The External option but implemented without that step.) In other words, scroll through user names on the display.

Multiple Users on 'phantom' extensions share one real phone

My second post... I have a set of four users who are peers, all co-managers of an operating area. They share a desk and office, on a shift basis. They share physical extension 6130. I'd like them to each have a virtual extension, example: Joe 6200, Sally 6201, Tom 6202, and Mary 6203. The...

    IPO406/412 Setup Directory ON PHONES

Hi all, my first post, I am IT Mgr for a new business with two buildings, and IPO412 and 406, running 3.0(59) with mostly 5420D phones. I am looking for a user-simple way to program the Directory so that users can look up names and/or Desks right from the phone. We are way under 100 phones so...
