I've tried from much older versions of Windows that have not been updated and are running old versions of IE. No good. That's why I'm thinking Java or ActiveX, on the server itself.
What do you mean by "resetting IE"?
Eric
Recently we noticed that we were not able to login to ContactStore anymore using Internet Explorer, no matter where we try from and what version we use. It doesn't even indicate "Login Failure", it just stays on the login page.
I am able to login using Chrome or Firefox but that doesn't help...

Here is what I've found so far;
I do a full backup once a week and differential backups for all the other days. When I restore just the full backup I can access ContactStore and see the calls. When I restore the full and all the differentials all together, there is an error with the...
Hi,
We had a major issue and lost a bunch of servers. I'm trying to rebuild the voicemail server from a backup. The server is running VMPro 8.0(46) and ContactStore 7.8. I'm pretty certain what the admin password is and I had also setup domain authentication but they always fail. I tried...
We've recently noticed that, on occasion, when one specific internal user leaves a voicemail to another internal user, the voicemail is recorded in ContactStore and no voicemail is sent to destination. It's almost as if Contactstore wrongly picks up the voicemail from the VRL folder. I'm still...
I was following a thread (thread940-1344297) that was refering to the issue of DST on ContactStore. I'm having the same problem but don't have much knowledge about Java.
Does anyone have any info on how to install/configure/use the TZUpdater?
Any info would be appreciated.
VICTORY!!! thephonemn's solution worked. We unplugged the power supply from the unit, waited a few seconds and plugged it back in. The port did not re-enable itself right away. We waited 5 minutes and voila! it was fixed! We did this with all the other Expansion Units and recovered all our...
Tech Tip 143 does not apply since it does not randomly reboot (although it did a while back, I may be freeing up some ports). I will be trying thephonemn's solution of unplugging an affected DS in a few minutes.
Thank you all for your feedback. I will let you know if that works.
- It's a proper server room with elevated floor
- yes there is airco
- there were renovations a long while back. The equipment was covered as well as we could. The symptoms only started happening about a year after that. It is also affecting a brand new IP400 added about a month ago
- The system...
We have an IPO 412 3.0(69) with 7 IP400 Digital Station units and 44XX phones. For a few months now ports on the Digital Stations randomly become unusable after a reboot. At first we were able to reuse them after a reboot but no more. The message light just flashes and incoming calls are sent to...
I have the remote IP in the field. Maybe the IPaddr field is a subnet mask. The first line, 13322mS AVRIP Tx: v=192.168.12.222, refers to the remote IPO.
I've used the monitor and got this when checking routing;
13322mS AVRIP Tx: v=192.168.12.222 send=4934 receive=0
requiresvoicemail 0 operational 1 version 2 recordsupported 1
IPaddr 255.255.255.255 hops=0 voice=0
I've rebooted with the monitors running but I...
Not since it had started working last week. When we first installed the new IPO last week it was configured to another IP which we changed and everything had been working fine for about five days. Three days after implementation the default gateway was changed and two days after that the Voice...
Thanks for taking the time to answer.
Yes, we are cleaning up the network at the other end so we changed the gateway. It was changed accordingly in the Manager and both IPO's were rebooted several times. Extension-to-extension still won't work.
We recently installed a new IPO 406 to complement our 412. It worked fine until some networking changes stopped Voice Networking from functioning. Long distace calls between the sites redirected by short codes work fine but not extension-to-extension . Does anyone know what ports need to be open...
