They could easily fix this by having just 2 prefix text boxes:
1. Add a 9 for 10 digit non-local area code incoming calls.
2. Add a 91 for 7 digit local area code incoming calls.
Either way, there should be some featureset to deal with this... otherwise the Prefix box is completely useless...
IPOffice 8.0 - Avaya switches most analog and one new digital one.
Phones Avaya 5420/2420 and old 4412D's
Must dial 9 for outgoing line.
I have looked around and I see no easy way to fix this. I don't even understand why under our LINE > PRI line type > Prefix setting.... why the prefix...
So, I'm a noob in the telecom world. Lets get that out of the way. I've been managing an IPOffice 8 system for 3 years for minimal changes needed and for big stuff I call the phone guy.
Anyway, I have things setup to where I can see internal extension numbers on my cell phone display to know...
Unbelievably, the cable run was OPEN on 2 of its wires. Had the network boys come fix it and it worked instantly after that. Not sure how that happened, as no one usually is in the server room behind the patch panel... but someone had to have loosened it. Thanks to all that replied. Good guesses.
I have an HP LaserJet M401N, brand new out of the box.
Its set to DHCP. Refuses to grab IP on this 1 certain wall jack.
I plug a laptop into the same wall jack and immediately get IP and internet connection.
The M401N is at its latest firmware. Have done all the usual stuff: reboot printer...
I have enabled mobile twinning at my desk and also separately I have the ARS setup to transmit only a 4 digit extension when the office calls my cell, so that I can see who is calling me (4 digit internal extension) when they call my cell directly instead of seeing the traditional generic main...
Well, I can't believe after all the searching and reading that as soon as I posted that I found this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd759145.aspx - So, is there any way anyone knows of (reg key or otherwise) to force an incremental on a network folder share? Would a mapped drive...
I have an elaborate backup setup with scsi drives in a RAID package and we are now using "Windows Server Backup" the backup feature that comes with Windows Server Backup 2008 R2 64 bit. IE: Old ntbackup now on steroids etc.. wbadmin, wbengine, etc.. - The problem is that after much study...
Well, yes.... lol.. I feel kinda goofy now... I didn't mean 1000 gigabit. lol - Definitely meant 1000mb or 1 gigabit.
Well, in any case, what do you think? Would a DL380 G3 or G4 hold up well with a slow starting computer business with 1 person adding sites as time goes on?
I'd be going with...
A long time ago I used to keep up with each generation or wave of new tech CPU coming out. At some point it got to be too much trouble and I gave up on it thinking, if I buy new I'll always have the fastest. Enter USED and EBAY etc... Trying to save some money to start a new web business.
I see...
The surge protector being used "looks beefy", but I know its probably from Wal-mart. Its not the cheapest one they had though. Its big and mid-grade. FYI - All computers are using surge protection as well as the router and cable modem.
Electricity works fine in the rest of the house. No weird...
Also, if you are doing the factory defaults reset via wireless computer you will need to flip from SSID on your computer from the customized SSID name to "linksys" to get a connection again to reset it with the cfg file. After that your old SSID will be reactivated and you'll go reconnect to...
The only thing that has solved deceleration of internet speed (and mine does it too over time) has been to reset to factory defaults via the admin pages (not the button) and then restore the customized config from a stored cfg file.
Remember when doing this you are flipping from using your own...
We have a Linksys Router WRT54G (Firmware revision is 4.21.1) that I have customized with various settings including mac filtering, time zone, IP restrictions, SSID name etc..
For whatever reason from time to time (no identifiable pattern of when or why) the internet drops out completely from...

Why the hell won't this work? I have it in a VBS file on my XP SP2 system and all it does is pull up the same exact text NOT TRIMMED. Its as if the TRIM function is just not working at all and I've also been having problems getting MID to work too and it says TYPE MISMATCH but I KNOW that I'm...
Well I had to try something new before I left on my trip or else I would've actually been thinking about this on the road. Turns out my SATA (Seagate Baracudda) drive is still working and that its my Seagate IDE ST36530A drive that is funked. With the ST36530A in it as you say "clobbers" the...
