    G5 and Wireless

    I would not reccommend using any wireless card other than an airport card in a G5 PowerMac. That will void out your warranty. A while back I used a Dell TrueMobile 1150 PCMCIA card with a Powerbook 1400 and it required a certain driver but it was able to work.

    I would try to see if you can download an updated driver. A lot of times I have seen issues like this but with HP printers and it is usually a driver.

    You may want to try Open Office http://www.openoffice.org This will require that you install X11 from the Install DVD but the program BASE is compatible with Access

    Need to re-install DNS Client service

    Well it has been determined that when the DNS client service is flushed, turned off, and than back on that everything works fine. The problem only happened after the last batch of Windows updates was rolled down to the PC. Thanks for all of the help so far

    Hello all, I am new to this but I have a question. I am using a dual xeon processor dell as a workstation with Windows XP Pro. Recently some updates appear to have corrupted my DNS Client service. Is there any way to re-install just this service? Thanks in Advance
