Doc, I don't beleive that the 200 will try and retain control of the call using the PA feature, and the blind transfer will release the call to the cell phone. I agree that if your on an older NEC switch att. 34 doesn't work, but I have seen this clear this type of issue more than once.
My 2 cents
Oh yeah just in case you didn't know transfering out of the VM to a cell phone is a trunk to trunk transfer and not really the safest thing, some PBX/Key vendors will lock the feature down just because.
Good luck.
Add attribute 34 (blind transfer)
The attribute 54 (allow personal assisstance) is going to try and monitor the call so it can pull it back to allow the caller to leave amessage in the MB of the person they called not the PA.
Good luck
Not sure about the Octel; but you could blind transfer to an extention that is all calls forwarded to whatever number you want.
That said; you would have to set your PBX/key system to allow trunk to trunk transfers, it is a security risk, small but still a risk.
Your PBX vendor should be able...
At the . prompt enter L NAM return it will ask for the MB number to display, if it's incorrect or missing you can type M NAM and the MB number return and change it.
This should get you what you need.
You will want to modify the single digit menu, not sure how you have it setup either in the info table, or off the mailbox. get a list of the mailboxes currently containing the greetings and make sure that the 6 option is mailbox xxx6 then next in that series.
I would run a trace and capture one of the dropped calls should be easy if it's dropping that many. If you have a trace post it so I can see, sounds like there is timming issuses or the SMDI is sending something you don't need. Either way a trace should show you wheather it's the 100 dropping...
Ok so I'm looking to have a pop up on one of my obects, so that when the user scrolls over it it will provide more detail(another drawing) of what that object contains.
Any ideas?
Thanks
I beleive the Dotor is correct, however the PIC ports would suggest that you are digitally integrated through those ports to the PBX. So if you where able to shuffle your traffic so that calls not needing intergration (general auto attendant) you could use the LIC cards to handle that traffic...
That should work, you could also set the second roll over line to be all calls forwarded to the Octel that way the caller would only hear the 4 rings on the DID then goto VM?
my 2 cents.
You can set the purge time in the info table for new and saved messages on COS base or if your looking for a global solution look in the system parameters for the new and saved message time settings. BTW if you set it to a retention date of shorter that messages already stored, they will be...
The other thing a "seat" does is allow for the mailbox to accsess any of the surrounding applications on the system. ie. visual desktop, fax, and so on.
I don't think so I have tried that and it changes the order of the data, I need to keep the data exactly as it is now, and just remove the blank lines.
Can't sort the on the 10. because their all mixed inside of test.
keep the idea's comming... maybe I haven't explained the issue well enough? I...
would I use that formula in the find area?
the issue is that this spreadsheet has many many diffrent IP's I'm sure they all start with 10. but the next three octets are all diffrent. if I use a find 10. and replace with 10.x.x.x what I get is everywhere you have a 10.1.2.3 you now have a...
That's what I'm trying to do.... change 10.1.2.3 and then 10.4.5.6 and 10.7.8.9 to all be "10.x.x.x "
I'm useing a spreadsheet that has IP's from another site, and don't have the new IP's for this site, so I need to change all the specific 10.1.2.3 addresses to a generic "10.x.x.x" until I...
