You can upgrade to a MICS 0x32 with rel 7.0 XC softare, 2 6-port fiber expansion cards and 12 M0x16 mods to get up to 224 extensions. You can reuse all existing telephones. This limits your trunk configuration to the two slots in the KSU (T1 or POTS lines)
The maximum number of station ports you can get out of a 8x24 is 120 (24 on the KSU plus 6 station modules x 16 ports eacy) . This is assuming you have a 6-port copper expansion card with six M0x16 modules and no Trunk Modules.

We have recently installed an ASCOM Wireless system (www.ascomwireless.com) on an existing Norstar MICS 4.1 system. We have found that the ASCOM system does not have access to the Norstar features since there is no "Feature" button on the ASCOM handset.
