Passed CCDA - How do I study for the CCDP

There were 4 case studies. A reasonable amount of IPv6. Not so much VLSM. I have the 1st and 2nd editions of the CCDA self-study book and it seems like more questions came out of the 1st edition. I just needt to pass ARCH (642-871) to get my CCDP. I have the student guide, but the official...

Passed CCDA - How do I study for the CCDP

I just passed the CCDA last week and have been looking at taking the CCDP (642-871). But, there is very little study material available for it. Cisco Press is not scheduled to release the study book for this test until Nov, 2004. Has anyone taken this exam and passed it? If so, what did you...

    Radius and switches..

We are running Cisco Access Control Server using TACACS+ for our routers and RADIUS for our switches. There are plenty of RADIUS authentication software packages out there, some free and some not. Make sure the one you choose has support for Nortel switches. Nortel has vendor specific...

ISDN as backup for Frame Relay ( Help !!!)

You could avoid using the backup interface commands and use OSPF. You would make the cost of the ISDN line very high so that it would only come active if the serial line went down. And this would work both ways since the ISDN interface would always be on but not passing traffic.

ISDN Connects one way but not the other

I have Cisco routers at both ends. One has the ISDN BRI network module and the other uses a NT-1 module. The SPIDs are correct. Both sides of the line are established to layer 3. There is no telephone or any other device on the lines, other than the routers.

ISDN Connects one way but not the other

I have an ISDN backup for a T-1 from an office in Madison to an office in St. Paul, MN. I can connect from St. Paul to Madison over the ISDN line but when I try to connect from Madison to St. Paul, I get an error message of not end-to-end ISDN. The St. Paul router does not even receive the...
