Thankyou for all your help.
I had long forgotten about the compare feature of the condition editor.
Using it i got exactly the result i needed.
Cheers.
Sure
I have a DB that is propagated by caller leaving details.
One of them is kilometres travelled.
Need to restrict the amount of kilometres travelled to being no greater than 10.
I need to do a basic vbscript.
That is restrict an amount stored in a variable.
In vbscript i would write
If $CP4 > 10 Then
$CP4 = 10
End if
But this doesnt work in vmpro. I tried to use some of the provided methods but failed in that as well.
Can anyone provide the solution?
Cheers.
Try running ph man on the same pc. Same issue will then rule out a softconsole bug.
Try then softconsole on your laptop. If it works then its not an IPO issue.
ie. it is a firewall.
If it is the same noise as I'm thinking. (more of a scheek, that a tick and only on an external call) then its a clocking issue.
Easiest way to confirm is to go to system monitor and connect is to your IP office(IP address of IPO plus password: password (default)). (installed from admin cd) and...
If it keeps occuring (power off and on clears the fault) try upgrading the prompts to 4.2 wav files. (this is often over looked)
To do this switch the manager into embedded file management mode. (file>>advanced>>embedded file management.)
Now using windows open from the 4.2 Admin CD the folder...
Vmpro has nothing to do with the licensing aspect.
Go through the usual.
Confirm that IPO is pointing to the correct license dongle carrier, either itself or a server. (same one as the vmpro?)
If PC is the server check that the key server application is in the system tray as is red.
If it is...
Hehe
Grab some phones, a lan cable and connect it between the IP412 and another IPO. Ask the customers network guy to duplicate the same fault that occurs over his network.
Feel free to bet some $$ with him that he can't.
Once point is conceeded feel free to walk away :)
As a suggestion.
Incomming call route assign a DDI to go to voicemail option in the drop down destination list.
Make sure all users have a voicemail password.
Dial DDI and it asks for user name and password.
Alternatively you can have a vmpro AA transfer to a:
*99
Voicemail collect
tel...
The sooner you get your telco provider onto this the sooner this line fault will be fixed.
p.s: Insist that they don't waste the customers time doing a bit error rate test(bert test). (ask them to check the configuration, slippage, crc checking etc) or to use a third party ISDN analyser)
Thats...
Pure guess but I have had sites where Vmpro answers the call before the ISDN call setup information is passed with the result being that the call is dropped.
Feel free to create a shortcode. Say;
*99
voicemailcollect
"#Short Codes.Main_AA"
Then route a incomming call route/DDI to *99
The #...
