Anybody how to change a win2003 terminal server from Application mode to Remote Administrator mode? Or if you know how to remove Office 2000 from the Terminal server after it has been changed to application mode, that would be preferable.
A couple of items need to be considered:
default routes:
Are the netopia routers the default gateways for each side of the vpn. What type of vpn are you using (IPSEC will automatically install routes when phase 2 is completed).
If the netopias are not the default gateways, then add routes on...
I hate to ask such a mundane question... Did you check for the driver for the Intel card on the Caldera site? I didn't see what version of sco you are running. I've had troubles running some of the Intel cards, so I tend to stay with 3com as it seems that they have been better supported.
If you have a couple hundred bucks, you could probably accomplish this relatively simply without fooling with your Unix box. Get a DSL/ Cable router that supports multiple IP subnets on the ethernet side such as the Netopia line. Your routing will take place automagically and you don't need to...
While I don't use Cisco routers, my bet would be on the router as opposed to the SCO box. I do know that routers such as NetGear provide such a feature as to time-out sessions after a period of time. How are your clients logging into the SCO box? If you are using a VPN, perhaps there is a...
These two articles will provide you the solution.

Sorry for the delay (business does takes precedence, particularly when clients can't run payroll because of disk failures...). Now I'd like you to enable tty1A at 2400 baud (since the modem continues to report 2400 baud on our little test above) and try connecting again. Additionally, I'd like...
I don't believe that Samba is going to resolve your issue regarding internet access. What I'm curious about is your XP machine. Is it a multi-homed (two nic) system? Do you have valid internet addresses or are you attempting to use the internet sharing feature in XP?
I'll beg the question... how are the terminals (are they really terminals or pcs emulating terminals?) connected? If the terminals are connected to a terminal server, perhaps the issue is as easy as power fluctuations affecting the terminal server or other device handling the terminals. If...
Well... now I'm beginning to suspect that your modem is not on com1 (tty1a). It may be that it is on com2 (tty2a). Try the same steps as above substituting tty2a (and tty2A) where applicable. Post back and I'll try monitoring the board today. I do a lot of work on-site for several clients so...
As a little test project, humor me and disable the serial port you are connecting i.e. disable tty1A. Then I'd like you to connect to your serial port via the cu command i.e.
cu -ltty1a Next i'd like you to reset the modem to the factory defaults AT&F
Then I'd like you to dial into that port...

The device you listed is the concentrator connected to the AccelePort family
This is a snippet from a post I made this am which may apply to your situation here. I had forgotten about this issue with Digi until this am. See if this helps.
There is one other thing that I had forgotten about until this am. Check your files under /etc/conf/init.d to ensure that the...
This is a post I made this am on a similar situation. See if this helps.
There is one other thing that I had forgotten about until this am. Check your files under /etc/conf/init.d to ensure that the settings in the files there match what you have set up in /etc/inittab. I had forgotten that...
There is one other thing that I had forgotten about until this am. Check your files under /etc/conf/init.d to ensure that the settings in the files there match what you have set up in /etc/inittab. I had forgotten that when you manually edit inittab, the files that call the initialization...
While I have installed and trouble-shot SCO boxes for many years, I've never moved any of my clients to 5.0.6, so I don't have any advice in that arena. However, personal experience with USR modems has shown me that as a general rule, they are of very low quality and typically exude many of the...
Start with the following technical article re: disappearing remote printers: TA109737
Setup the D-Link to use the appropriate queue name e.g.
DLINK-1 or whatever your choice is. Use the Print Manager to setup a remote printer-->Unix and use the ip address in the host name and then enter the...
