Vista has what it calls network protection. Meaning it will not let a machine join a network until it figures things are safe. You "could" try to disable it and see if that works. Also I beleived I read an article about Vista shutting off broadcasting. Just remeber "VISTA a new Millenium" RCT

Well in a different profile it will work fine on the same machine. I think there is something corrucpt in the profile but do not know how to track it down. RCT
