    View password using SNMP Get

    you cant get the password by SNMP but you can trigger an upload of the config if you know the R/W community. Then you should cut and paste a KNOWN password hash over the one you don't know, erase the config on the switch setup IP on the switchand download the new config using TFTP

    there is NO WAY to get the software out of an extreme switch. You would have to break the box open and move the flash to some other box and copy the file out.
