show version and show switch have different info

Hi all,

I have a customer who is getting conflicting information when she does a "show version" and "show switch."

Switch# show version
Image : Extremeware Version 7.1.1 (Build 11)

Switch# show switch
Primary EW Ver: 7.3.2b3
Secondary EW Ver: 6.2.2b68
Image and config selected are primary
Primary Config: 7.0.1 Build 13
Secondary Config: 7.0.1 Build 13

If the switch is running 7.1.1b11, why does it not show up in the show switch?

I've checked a couple different types of switches that I use S48 and S200's and BD. Both show the same infomation between the 2 cmds. So I'm going to take a guess as to possibly why.What may have happened is they upgraded from 6.2.2b68 to 7.0.1.1b, saved and rebooted. Then upgraded to 7.0.1.1b to 7.3.2b, but didn't save and reboot. Have him/her save and reboot the devices off hours and scheduled with the business units. Then see if the sh ver and sh switch are the same.

shows which version of software is in memory

sh switch
shows which versions are stored in the flash
